Fraser Edwards are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading social housing contractor on a permanent contract based in Grimsby. This role supports a well-established, high-value contract covering over 7,500 social housing properties across the Grimsby and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will play a key role in the project management and delivery of a diverse range of services, including Repairs & Maintenance, Voids and Capital Works. You will be working with a stable, forward-thinking contractor known for strong client relationships, consistent workload, and a collaborative culture. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager seeking long-term security, career progression, and involvement in a varied and technically interesting portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Manage social housing refurbishment projects from start to finish
- Plan and coordinate programmes, labour, materials and supply chain
- Manage contractors and direct labour teams
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to specification
- Maintain strong client and supply chain relationships
- Monitor budgets, forecasts and project risks
- Provide regular progress updates
Requirements
- Proven Project Management experience within social housing refurbishment
- Strong construction background (internal and/or external works)
- Excellent Health & Safety knowledge
- CSCS card, First Aid at Work & full UK driving licence
Package
- £60k + (car allowance) + up to 10% bonus + benefits
- Flexible base salary for strong candidates
- Permanent role - Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
- 25 days holiday
