Temporary Resident Liaison Officer (6-Month Contract)

Fraser Edwards Recruitment is seeking an experienced Resident Liaison Officer on behalf of a leading organisation delivering refurbishment and retrofit works within the social housing sector.
This is a six-month temporary position, with an immediate start available for the successful candidate.
The role involves supporting residents throughout planned improvement works, ensuring clear communication, coordinating property access, and providing an excellent customer experience from start to finish.
Regular travel is required across North Yorkshire, Sheffield, Hull, Rotherham, Northumberland, and Liverpool.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact residents to arrange retrofit survey appointments and follow up on properties where access has not yet been secured.
- Build positive relationships with tenants, residents, and local communities throughout the duration of the project.
- Keep residents informed by providing clear, timely updates on planned works and project schedules.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries, resolving concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Coordinate property access to ensure works are completed efficiently and within agreed timescales.
- Identify and resolve access issues or resident concerns, escalating where appropriate to minimise project delays.
- Maintain accurate records of resident communications, appointments, and project updates using company systems.
- Work closely with site teams and project managers to ensure excellent customer service is delivered at every stage.
Essential
- Previous experience in a Customer Liaison Officer or similar customer-facing role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle (business mileage reimbursed).
- Willingness to travel extensively across Yorkshire and neighbouring regions.
