Fraser Edwards are recruiting on behalf of a leading Water Treatment client for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a long-term installation and remedials contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Fitter looking for consistent, long-term work within the water industry.
The Role
- Mechanical installation, maintenance and remedial works across water treatment sites
- Installation, assembly and modification of mechanical equipment and systems
- Mechanical repairs, maintenance and fault finding
- Working from drawings and technical specifications
- Working safely in accordance with site and client requirements
- Completing works to a high standard and within project timescales
Requirements
- Ideally hold current Thames Water Pass
- Relevant mechanical qualifications / trade experience
- Previous experience within water treatment, utilities, industrial or similar environments preferred
- Strong understanding of mechanical installation, maintenance and remedial works
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Good health & safety awareness
- Reliable, professional and able to work independently
- Own tools and relevant PPE
