Fraser Edwards are currently recruiting for a Fabric Technician for a permanent role. This role will be working in residential properties on a fixed site, undertaking reactive repairs and maintenance works within communal areas and commercial units. Our client is a well-established Property Management company and due to continued growth, is expanding its team. The business has continued to flourish over recent years and this new role is a great chance to be part of its exciting future.
Pay: £36,000- £40,000 per year
The Role:
- Carry out carpentry repairs to doors and windows.
- Perform basic locksmith tasks, including lock and door closer adjustments.
- Undertake light decorating and flooring works.
- Conduct security and H&S inspections, reporting any defects.
- General building upkeep.
- Assist with bin collection and cleaning of bin areas.
- Record all work accurately using the company’s mobile app.
- Work closely with estate managers, contractors, and the wider maintenance team.
Desirable:
- Carpentry bias
- Experience working in domestic/residential properties or facilities maintenance works
- Good communication skills with residents
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- 8am-5pm with 1 hour lunch break
