Fraser Edwards are recruiting FRA Carpenters on behalf of a well-established and leading Social Housing Contractor. Due to continued growth and long-term contracts, the business is expanding its Fire Safety team, offering a secure and rewarding opportunity to join a company with a strong reputation and a clear future.
You will play a key part in delivering vital fire safety works across occupied social housing properties, helping to ensure compliance and tenant safety at all times.
Responsibilities- Installing, repairing, and maintaining fire doors in properties and communal areas
- Fitting single and double fire doors, including front entrance doors
- Carrying out FRA-related remedial works in line with current fire safety regulations
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of workmanship and compliance
- Working professionally and respectfully in occupied homes
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry or City & Guilds qualification
- Previous social housing experience
- Experience carrying out FRA or fire door works
- Permanent, long-term work with a stable and growing contractor
- Company van and fuel card
- Excellent pension scheme
