Fraser Edwards are currently recruiting an experienced Carpenter for a temporary contract on behalf of our client. Our client is a well-established organisation delivering repairs and maintenance services across social housing properties. Due to increased workload, they are looking to strengthen their Asset Management team with a skilled Carpenter who can deliver high-quality repair and maintenance work while providing excellent customer service. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy maintenance team working across occupied domestic properties.
The Role:
- Carry out a variety of carpentry repairs and maintenance works within social housing properties.
- Complete first and second fix carpentry, repairs, installations and general maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, meeting quality and safety requirements.
- Record completed work and materials used using handheld technology or job management systems.
- Liaise professionally with tenants, supervisors and office staff regarding scheduled works.
- Safely operate power tools, equipment and company vehicles where required.
- Support other trades where necessary to ensure works are completed within agreed timescales.
- Follow all Health and Safety regulations.
