Fraser Edwards are currently recruiting a Building Surveyor for a permanent retrofit role based in Southeast London. Our client is a well-established Building Consultancy with offices based in Southeast London. They are focused on undertaking retrofit surveys for Local Authorities and Housing Associations. Due to continued growth, they are recruiting for a Building Surveyor to join the business for retrofit projects. All candidates must have contract administration experience. We are open to applications from Building Surveyor who are looking to transfer into a Retrofit role, as our client will support with training and qualifications. This is a hybrid role with 60% being office/site based and 40% working from home. All sites will be located within the Greater London area. The Retrofit Building Surveyor role will include: Undertaking pre and post retrofit inspection works on a range of commercial, education, local government and residential sites. A mixture of project work and contracted service surveys. Complete all necessary approval paperwork for scheme designs. Preparing and submitting applications for Building Consent and Building Control Approvals. Contract Administration duties in compliance with practice procedures and verification strategies. Completing and delivering technical reports directly to developers, local councils, contractors and internal contractors. Liaising with management and support staff throughout the surveying process. Candidates Must Have: BSc Degree or similar in Building Surveying Technical knowledge of a wide range commercial and residential works Extensive knowledge of Building Maintenance and diagnostic techniques Health and Safety legislation knowledge Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per year Benefits: * Company car * Company pension * Work from home Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
