  • The Psychologist - Senior (Prison Mental Health) provides high level clinical services and leadership within the multidisciplinary Prison Mental Health Services (PMHS) team. The role is responsible for forensic mental health care through timely and responsive service provision required to meet the objectives of the PMHS. Including delivering high level clinical and forensic psychology services to adult patients of the PMHS, providing professional leadership, consultation, supervision and clinical input utilising a high level of knowledge and expertise in the field of forensic mental health, contributing to the training of staff, skill development and the development and review of training, research, policy and clinical practice guidelines relevant to the provision of psychological assessment and therapeutic interventions. Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from date of appointment

Work Environment

You will receive competitive salary between $4,912.70 - $5,286.40 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment until 27th February 2027 with the possibility of extension) (Applications will remain current for duration of the vacancy).
