Fraser Carver Executive Search are working with a reputable Real Estate Finance Company based in Central London who are looking to add in a Newly Qualified Accountant into the finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for the UK entities
- Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and supporting documentation
- Prepare and post journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
- Perform bank, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations
- Assist with month-end close and management reporting processes
- Liaise with external tax advisers to support tax compliance and reporting requirements
- Work closely with external audit partners, including preparing schedules and responding to audit queries
- Support the preparation of statutory accounts and year-end financial information
- Ensure finance records are maintained in line with internal controls and accounting standards
- Assist with process improvements and finance-related ad hoc tasks as required
Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CA / CPA or equivalent)
- 1 - 3 years’ post qualification accounting experience, ideally within a fast-paced or multi-entity environment. Real Estate experience preferred but not essential.
- Strong bookkeeping and financial accounting experience
- Experience working with external tax advisers and auditors
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Good understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, and reporting deadlines
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- A hands-on approach and willingness to take ownership of work
