Working pattern: Part-time, term-time only (working for39weeks per year plus6.05weeks annual leave).
As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata.

  • Enjoy working with children and supporting them to enjoy their time in school. Get involved in supporting play.
  • Work collaboratively with others to ensure safe and efficient lunchtime supervision.
  • Can be flexible in supporting the school when arrangements change due to staffing or other needs.
  • Have high standards when it comes to providing a safe, calm, clean dining area for pupils.
  • Have high standards of pupils’ behaviour and follow school behaviour policy being assertive and resolving issues independently following our ethos of, 'curious not furious'.
  • Show understanding of SEN and more vulnerable pupils and the need to be sensitive to these.
  • Build good relationships with all staff to enable you to liaise effectively with Class Teachers, Teaching Assistants and Kitchen Staff.
  • Have great ideas about play and how to engage children.
  • Engage in training opportunities embracing our vision of learning without limits.
  • Use school systems to maintain accurate reporting.
  • Be alert to safeguarding concerns and report following policy.
  • Complete first aid training to enable treatment of minor injuries.

You will be fully supported through an Induction program and introduced to your role.
