We are looking for a motivated, pro‑active and forward‑thinking Cloud Accountant to play a vital part in our successful firm. You will need to be self‑motivated, ambitious and will be responsible for providing clients with an all‑round accounting, tax and business advisory service. Franks Accountants are a leading independent accountancy practice based in Wetherby, providing a complete range of accountancy services to small businesses across Yorkshire and beyond.

Job Type: Full‑time, Permanent

Salary Range: £30,000.00 to £35,000.00 per annum DOE

Study Support Available

Location: Wetherby

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to clients in the use of cloud‑based accounting software, concentrating largely on Xero.
  • Client set‑up and training on software.
  • Preparation of annual accounts for Limited companies.
  • Taxation compliance work.
  • Provision of Payroll, VAT and management accounts for clients.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience working in a public practice firm and holds / is studying towards an accountancy qualification.

Skills required for the role:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Iris (preferable)
