The Role
We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer to join our growing service team. You will handle planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and emergency reactive breakdowns for commercial, industrial, and retail clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults and execute rapid reactive repairs on diverse cooling systems.
- Perform routine PPM visits to ensure maximum system efficiency and compliance.
- Participate in a standby rota to provide out-of-hours emergency cover.
- Complete digital service reports accurately via our mobile engineering app (Joblogic).
Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid F-Gas Certificate (Category 1) is mandatory.
- NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (or equivalent experience).
- Full UK Driving Licence with a clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform equipment repairs efficiently.
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills and ability to read wiring diagrams.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Excellent customer service skills for direct interaction with commercial clients.
- Proven mechanical knowledge with a strong background in air conditioning systems.
- Experience in building and maintaining HVAC systems is essential.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Leadership experience is desirable, with the ability to mentor less experienced engineers.
- Excellent timekeeping and a flexible approach on working overtime where required.
- Live within a commutable distance to and from London and Home Counties.
- SPA, CSCS, or PASMA cards are highly desirable.
