Role Overview

  • Develop, plan, deliver and review all internal training programmes.
  • Support compliance with statutory and mandatory training in their allocated region.
  • Deliver induction and refresher training in their designated area when required.
  • Facilitate and deliver advanced/specialised courses to meet the requirements of our clients.
  • Lead, support and deliver training on our Train the Trainer and accredited programmes which may be out of the allocated region.
  • Advise and support our clients to meet the required training standards and competencies, giving extra support when required.
  • Support managers and other staff on our LMS system.
  • Be open to delivering training via online platforms.
  • Have meticulous record-keeping skills.
  • Be flexible in your approach to work to accommodate the multiple challenges our client base encounters within the care sector.

About You

  • To join us as a Regional Clinical Trainer, it is essential you hold a formal adult teacher training qualification.
  • NMC Pin and relevant hands-on clinical experience.
  • You should have experience of working within the Health & Social care environment and will be experienced in Moving and Assisting People, Clinical Training Skills such as venepuncture, phlebotomy, and catheterization, alongside other specific health conditions.
  • You must hold a valid UK driver's license.
  • The role is committed to improving residents' care by enhancing the clinical skills, knowledge and teamwork of the colleagues delivering their care.
  • You are a naturally organised yet caring person with a passion for delivering training that will enhance the care our clients' residents receive.

This Post will Require:

  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Franklins Training Ltd.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
  • NMC Pin.
  • Evidence of training experience from within a medical/clinical environment.
