What is the Product Marketing Team responsible for?
Our International Product Marketing team helps shape the way we bring our investment products to life. We craft compelling product stories and content that engage clients to take action to invest or to remain invested in our products. Acting as product champions and subject matter experts, our team plays a pivotal role across the organization. We support our Distribution business outside the U.S., including Canada, Americas Offshore, EMEA, and APAC, across both Retail and Institutional channels.
This is a HYBRID position which requires 3 days per week onsite in our Edinburgh office.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Product Marketing Manager - Asset Management?
- Owns product marketing for a specific strategy/asset class under our UCITS Offshore product range and Local Market products ranges (Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and the UK).
- Develops and maintains relevant, timely product stories tailored to various client types and global markets.
- Creates the suite of support across the entire client journey—from prospecting to onboarding and servicing—for investors, advisors, and institutions.
- Partners with cross-functional teams (sales, compliance, legal, creative) to bring the product story to life across channels.
- Coordinates and executes integrated product marketing campaigns including email, thought leadership, advertising, and social.
- Actively seeks to drive business results by identifying opportunities to enhance/strengthen our marketing materials and messaging.
- Drives marketing strategy for new product launches, coordinating across product development, creative, and digital teams.
- Suggests ways to improve processes, procedures, and marketing collateral to improve time to market, boost efficiency, and increase impact.
- Monitors the competitive landscape to ensure strong, differentiated product positioning.
What ideal qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Experience in a product marketing or management role within the investment or asset management industry.
- Strong understanding of investment products such as mutual funds, ETFs, and separately managed accounts (SMAs).
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills (e.g. French, Spanish) are an asset.
- Familiarity with economic and financial concepts, global markets, and capital trends.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset with the ability to turn complex concepts into clear, engaging client messaging.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
