Position Overview
The Analyst will support BSP’s Liquid Credit platform, with a focus on leveraged loans, CLOs, structured credit and multi-credit strategies. The role will involve preparing investor materials, responding to investor and sales queries, supporting fundraising and client service efforts, and helping to position BSP’s liquid and structured credit capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and maintaining investor-facing materials, including reports, factsheets, commentaries, presentations and bespoke client materials.
- Completing investor diligence requests, including RFPs, DDQs and consultant questionnaires.
- Responding to ad hoc investor and sales requests, including support for fundraising efforts and ongoing investor maintenance.
- Working with portfolio managers, investment professionals and portfolio analytics teams to source, verify and present portfolio, performance and market data.
- Generating thought pieces, market updates and collateral to further BSP’s reputation as a credit thought leader.
- Supporting BSP’s Liquid Credit platform across leveraged loans, CLOs, structured credit and multi-credit strategies.
- Liaising with and coordinating across multiple business units, including sales, investment, portfolio analytics, finance, legal, compliance and operations.
- Maintaining strong quality control across investor-facing materials, with a focus on accuracy, consistency and clarity.
- Supporting preparation for existing and prospective investor meetings and calls.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private credit, asset management, investor relations, product strategy, portfolio analytics, credit research, consulting or a related financial services role.
- Basic knowledge of credit markets preferred; exposure to leveraged loans, CLOs, structured credit, high yield, private credit or fixed income would be a strong plus.
- Excellent technical skills, including Excel and PowerPoint, and strong overall quantitative ability.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and impeccable attention to detail.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethic and an ability to be nimble across many tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Self-starter with intellectual curiosity, sound judgment and eagerness to develop expertise across BSP's Liquid Credit and CLO platform.
- Familiarity with AI tools, including ChatGPT, and interest in using technology to improve workflow efficiency would be beneficial.
