Full time – 37 hours per week, all year round. The MIS Data Reporting Assistant supports the Management Information Systems team in producing accurate, reliable data and reporting that drives decision‑making across the college. The role combines MIS administration with a focus on data quality, reporting, and analysis, working closely with the Head of IT & MIS and colleagues from a range of departments.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain learner and curriculum data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify and resolve data anomalies and support funding and audit requirements.
  • Produce management information reports and analyses that support operational and strategic objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of reporting processes and help transform data into meaningful insights.

Qualifications

  • Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and confidence working with large volumes of data.
  • Advanced Excel and SQL skills.
  • Experience with education management information systems, Reporting Services, Power BI, or similar reporting tools is advantageous.

Salary & Benefits

Salary for the post will be on the Sixth Form Colleges Support Staff Pay Scale – Pay Spine Point NJC 8 to NJC 10, currently £26,343 to £27,733 FTE. Additional benefits include:
