Senior Platform Engineer

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Platform Engineer (SPE) to join our Delivery team and play a key role in delivering high-quality technical engineering services to our customers.

You will work within a designated Practice area, either as part of a wider delivery team or leading the technical delivery of small to medium-sized engagements. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role where you will act as a technical authority, designing and implementing robust infrastructure solutions and providing consultancy to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

You will also play an important role in mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the ongoing development of the team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver high‑quality technical engineering and consultancy services to customers
• Lead or contribute to the technical delivery of customer engagements
• Design and implement complex infrastructure and platform solutions
• Act as a technical expert within your domain
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Work independently or as part of larger project teams
• Mentor junior team members and support team development
• Ensure project milestones and customer deadlines are met

Technical Skills & Experience

Core Technologies

• Experience with tools such as (but not limited to):
• Zabbix, Grafana, Cribl, Prometheus, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet/Chef, VAST, WEKA
• Exposure to GPU technology
• VMware ecosystem experience including (highly desirable):
• VCF, SRM, HCX, VCDA, VVF, NSX

Required Experience

• 5+ years in a consulting environment designing and delivering customer solutions
• 5+ years in solution design and deployment
• 5+ years hands‑on experience with the technologies listed above
• Proven track record of delivering successful customer projects

Certifications

• Relevant, current technical certifications
• Willingness to undertake SC Clearance
