As an Alliances ISE you will play a key role in managing and developing strategic relationships with our Focus and Core technology vendors. You will act as a trusted partner to internal teams and external vendors, ensuring vendor programmes are well governed, commercially effective, and aligned to growth objectives.
This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced IT channel professional who enjoys balancing operational delivery with commercial impact. You will support go-to-market initiatives, manage vendor performance, ensure certification compliance, and contribute to the continuous development of our clients’ vendor portfolio within the cyber security ecosystem.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Vendor & Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned Focus and Core vendors
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with vendor partners and internal stakeholders
- Gather feedback from internal teams and share insights with vendor Partner Account Managers (PAMs) to enhance partnerships
- Support dispute resolution and arbitration of vendor-related issues
- Go-to-Market & Commercial Activity
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on joint growth and go-to-market plans
- Maximise outcomes from revenue-generating activities including focus days, enablement sessions, and partner events
- Optimise and manage MDF spend in line with agreed objectives
- Attend relevant vendor and partner conferences as required
- Vendor Performance & Governance
- Monitor, track, and report on vendor performance metrics
- Identify and mitigate risks or challenges associated with vendor relationships
- Ensure vendors are fully onboarded, with all required documentation maintained (e.g. NDAs, terms and conditions)
- Manage and track changes to vendor programmes, pricing, certifications, and requirements
- Portfolio & Enablement
- Review and assess new vendor opportunities and support the expansion of our clients’ Solutions portfolio
- Ensure appropriate vendor certifications and specialisations are achieved and maintained, coordinating training where required
- Support the vendor onboarding programme for new partners
- Reporting & Internal Collaboration
- Track and manage sales reporting, monitor trends, and produce regular reports
- Support strategic planning activities including annual business plans and quarterly vendor reviews
- Maintain accurate data sources to ensure visibility of vendor information across internal teams
- Collaborate closely with sales, technical, marketing, and operations teams to ensure efficient resolution of queries and tasks
- Essential:
- ~1-3 years’ experience working within the IT channel (reseller, distributor, or vendor)
- ~Proven experience within the technology sector, ideally cyber security
- ~Strong understanding of vendor programmes, channel dynamics, and commercial frameworks
- ~Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce
- ~Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- ~A-Level or equivalent qualification, or equivalent professional experience
- Desirable:
- Experience supporting strategic planning and vendor business reviews
- Exposure to MDF management and partner marketing activities
