Our client is looking for a talented Automation Consultant to join a growing UK team that helps organisations secure, connect, and automate their digital environments. What You'll Do

  • Work closely with clients from initial engagement through to delivery, helping design and implement tailored automation solutions that transform how networks are built, managed, and secured.
  • Lead discovery workshops and design sessions with customers.
  • Build and deploy automation workflows and APIs.
  • Integrate "single source of truth" solutions and manage networks as code.
  • Deliver CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and containerised services.
  • Collaborate with a skilled, supportive team across pre‐sales and delivery phases.

What You'll Bring

  • Passion for DevOps and automation technologies.
  • Experience developing with Object‐Oriented Python.
  • Confidence leading customer workshops and presenting solutions.
  • Strong understanding of network and cloud security principles.
  • Experience building and integrating APIs (REST, GraphQL, NETCONF, gRPC).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub/GitLab).
  • Experience testing with pytest and working with Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Hands‐on experience with Ansible and/or Terraform.
  • Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Background in network engineering or related fields.
  • Solid understanding of IP networking, routing, firewalls, and protocols.
  • Exposure to tools such as Netbox, IP Fabric, Itential, or Apstra.
