The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day warehouse and logistics activities. The role will involve coordinating with customers and internal stakeholders while helping to ensure a consistently high standard of service.
We are looking for someone highly organised, detail-focused and confident handling administrative tasks and computer-based systems. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities will also be important.
Working primarily within a warehouse environment and based in West London, the role will involve close interaction with commercial, finance and operational teams, ensuring processes, procedures and systems are maintained and improved. There will also be regular collaboration with colleagues across the wider European operation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the daily operation of the logistics and warehouse department
- Conduct daily inspections of incoming materials, supplies, and equipment, verifying delivery documentation against purchase orders
- Inspect shipments for damage or defects and report any issues to the manager and/or sales team
- Manage inventory and coordinate stock movements, including customer IT Asset Management (ITAM) services
- Maintain accurate records for:
- Warehouse inventory
- Inbound deliveries
- Outbound shipments
- Export licenses
- Coordinate outbound shipments with internal teams and external freight partners
- Liaise with freight providers to obtain shipping quotations for the sales team when required
- Assist with the safe movement and storage of inventory in accordance with company guidelines
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, quality standards, and health & safety regulations
- Maintain awareness and adherence to health & safety and fire safety procedures
- Support warehouse organisation and cleanliness, including workstation standards
- Assist with general facilities management tasks, including warehouse upkeep and waste services
Cross-Functional Support
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficient operational processes
- Assist the UK/US Account teams in resolving escalated sales issues when required
- Provide operational support as needed across the business as requirements evolve
REQUIREMENTS
- Secondary School graduate or above with 3–5 years of experience in a logistics, warehouse, or operational support role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, SharePoint, etc.) and stock management systems
- Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual, with the ability to manage daily inbound and outbound shipments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
- Reach-truck forklift license is beneficial but not required
