We’re looking for a highly experienced Senior Systems Administrator to take the lead on managing and optimising our IT infrastructure — with a strong focus on Linux automation, and enterprise-grade system performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Administer and monitor enterprise systems, ensuring high availability in a Linux environment.
- Lead and manage a VMware virtualised environment : upgrades, provisioning, and performance tuning
- Automate infrastructure using tools like Ansible , PowerShell, or Bash
- Implement robust backup and disaster recovery strategies
- Enforce security measures, conduct audits, and ensure compliance
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and support continuous improvement
- Document system configurations and generate performance reports
What You’ll Bring
- 6+ years in systems administration or infrastructure engineering
- VMware experience (upgrade, provisioning, tuning)
- Strong skills in Ansible and other automation/scripting tools
- Solid Linux/Windows OS knowledge
- Experience with Red Hat Satellite and patching infrastructure
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Relevant certifications (VCP, MCSA, RHCE, etc.) are a plus
