We are looking for a highly technical Global Head of Compute & Storage to own and evolve large-scale enterprise compute, storage, and data protection platforms in a regulated, high-availability environment. This role has global accountability for Linux-based infrastructure, including x86 compute, SAN/NAS storage, backup, archiving, and disaster recovery services. You will lead both operations and engineering teams, ensuring services meet strict uptime, security, and compliance requirements while driving modern infrastructure practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Own global Linux compute, storage, and data protection platforms
- Lead full lifecycle management of enterprise infrastructure (build, patching, upgrades, decommissioning)
- Drive Infrastructure-as-Code and Configuration-as-Code using tools such as Ansible
- Oversee backup, recovery, retention, and audit remediation activities
- Act as senior technical authority for storage, backup, and cyber-recovery
- Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and service improvements
- Develop multi-year technology roadmaps and manage budgets and vendors
- Ensure consistent standards across regions and 24/7 service delivery
Required Experience
- Strong experience with automation, scripting, and configuration management
- Hands-on knowledge of enterprise storage, backup, and data protection technologies
- Proven leadership of global infrastructure teams in regulated industries
