Key Responsibilities
- Operational Support: Deliver 1st class IT operational support, particularly in Trackside & TestOps areas, ensuring uninterrupted service during race seasons.
- Collaboration: Work closely with a small, specialized team to support key stakeholders and maintain exceptional IT service.
- Race Day IT Support: Provide dedicated 24/7 remote support to trackside staff during high-pressure race days and testing.
- Service Excellence: Prioritize tasks effectively and manage customer expectations, delivering technical and operational solutions within strict SLAs and deadlines.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to IT services and processes to improve reliability, performance, and security.
What You’ll Need
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office/365, Active Directory, Group Policy Management, and networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WAN, LAN). Experience with storage systems and performance monitoring tools is beneficial.
- Customer Service Focus: A strong, customer-centric attitude with the ability to consistently deliver excellent service.
- ITIL Knowledge: ITIL Foundation certification is required, along with practical experience in service management.
- Team Player: Ability to build positive relationships within the team and with external partners, while providing additional support when needed.
- Flexibility: Willingness to provide out-of-hours support, including on-site trackside and race team assistance, on a rota basis.
Qualifications & Desired Skills
- Required: ITIL Foundation Certification, Degree or equivalent experience, Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken), Microsoft Certifications, Interest in motorsports.
