Data Analytics Manager | Hybrid | Legal

Our client is seeking an experienced Data Analytics Manager to lead and deliver high-impact data solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will play a pivotal role in managing internal client relationships, overseeing the day-to-day delivery of data analytics work, and supporting a growing team of data professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Head of Data Analytics to design, develop, and enhance client dashboards and performance metrics.
  • Support the growth of the data analytics offering through relationship building and strategic engagement with internal stakeholders.
  • Deliver analytical insights and reports for data-driven matters, transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable outputs.
  • Integrate Generative AI solutions into analytical processes and deliverables.
  • Convert and manipulate data across formats to support project delivery (e.g. log file transformations for breach analytics).
  • Produce and maintain Legal Transformation dashboards, ensuring stakeholders understand their functionality and insights.
  • Present numerical data and insights in engaging, easy-to-understand formats, backed by strong narratives.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior members of the team.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Strong analytical reasoning with the ability to evaluate complex data and resolve issues independently.
  • Strategic, data-driven mindset with the ability to develop insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Proven experience in designing and maintaining analytical tools, dashboards, and reports.
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into compelling business insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI (or similar BI tools).
  • Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Power Automate, and Microsoft Fabric is advantageous.
  • Tertiary qualification in Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Advanced MS Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisational ability, and prioritisation skills.
  • Experience leading within an agile, activity-based environment, including delegation and quality control of team outputs.
