Our client is looking for an experienced and hands-on Cloud Engineer to join their growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of their internal cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. You will play a critical role in ensuring our cloud environments are secure, scalable, and reliable, supporting a range of business applications and data platforms.
You’ll work collaboratively across architecture, operations, and security teams, contributing to innovative cloud-native solutions that align with our strategic goals.
You will need:
- Proven experience working with the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
- Strong Azure administration skills across core services.
- Proficiency in Terraform or other IaC tools.
- Experience with Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
- Scripting skills in PowerShell and Python.
- Good understanding of cloud security principles and compliance standards.
- Experience with Azure monitoring tools (Monitor, Log Analytics, App Insights).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable working in regulated environments (e.g., FCA, ISO27001).
