We're partnering with a fast-growing, investment-backed IT services provider that's scaling rapidly across the UK. With significant recent investment and ambitious growth plans, they're expanding their direct sales team in Leeds and are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new logo growth in the region.
This is a true full-cycle B2B sales role selling managed IT and managed security services into the mid-market, with full ownership from first conversation through to long-term account growth.

What you will do
- Own the full B2B sales lifecycle for new business across the Leeds region
- Research and identify target industries and organisations that are not existing customers
- Build prospect lists and outreach strategies using tools such as LinkedIn and Cognism
- Execute proactive outbound activity (phone, email, LinkedIn) to generate pipeline
- Lead discovery meetings and qualify opportunities
- Retain ownership of customer accounts post-sale, driving renewals and growth
- Work closely with pre-sales and technical teams to shape solutions and proposals
- Deliver demos, present proposals, manage objections, and close business
- Act as a senior, experienced presence in the Leeds office, supporting and mentoring junior salespeople over time
What we're looking for
- Proven B2B new business ("hunter") sales experience
- Comfortable generating your own pipeline through outbound prospecting
- Experience selling managed services, IT, security, software, or complex service-based solutions
- Confident running meetings, demos, and senior stakeholder conversations
- Values-led and comfortable in a genuinely office-based, high-performance environment
