Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Associate UI/UX Designer to join our growing design team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career to develop their skills and gain hands-on experience in delivering high-quality, user-focused digital experiences.
Working closely with the Lead UI/UX Designer, you will help support the creation and maintenance of consistent design standards across a range of digital products and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the creation and upkeep of UI/UX design standards and component libraries
- Assist in producing wireframes, mockups, user flows, and interactive prototypes using Figma
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product and Engineering to shape user stories and refine requirements
- Support the implementation and application of standard UI frameworks
- Assist with user research, usability testing, and the analysis of user feedback
- Ensure accessibility principles are applied in line with WCAG standards
- Participate in team design reviews, workshops, and iterative feedback sessions
- Stay informed about current UI/UX trends, tools, and techniques — including the evolving role of AI in design
- Maintain well-organised and reusable design documentation to support seamless design-to-development handoff
What We’re Looking For:
- Foundational experience in UI/UX design and user-centred design principles
- A portfolio demonstrating interface design, user journeys, or design thinking
- Familiarity with modern design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
- Understanding of responsive and accessible design best practices
- Strong visual attention to detail and ability to follow design systems
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
- Clear communication skills and openness to feedback
- Curiosity to iterate based on user insight and technical feasibility
Desirable Skills:
- Exposure to usability testing or user research activities
- Awareness of front-end development concepts (e.g. HTML/CSS, design handoff workflows)
- Familiarity with UI frameworks or design systems (e.g. Material Design, Carbon)
- Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration platforms
