Onsite Hardware Datacentre Engineer We are looking for an experienced Hardware Datacentre Engineer to provide hands-on infrastructure support within a secure customer environment. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot and replace enterprise hardware, while supporting the day-to-day operation of the datacentre. This is a customer-facing position requiring strong technical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Key Responsibilities Install, configure and maintain server, storage and networking hardware. Diagnose hardware faults and complete break-fix activities within agreed SLAs. Rack, stack, cable and decommission infrastructure equipment. Install and manage copper and fibre cabling. Complete component replacements, firmware upgrades and hardware refreshes. Monitor equipment, power connections and the physical condition of the datacentre. Maintain accurate asset records, rack layouts, cable schedules and maintenance logs. Coordinate warranty and support activities with third-party vendors. Respond to incidents, service requests and approved infrastructure changes.
