Lead Business Analyst – ContractLocation: fully remote (UK-based)

We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst to join a high-profile programme working across complex systems environments. This is a contract opportunity for a seasoned professional who thrives in challenging landscapes and can bring structure, clarity, and leadership to multi-layered projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead BA activities across multiple workstreams in a complex systems environment.

Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Testers to ensure requirements are fully understood and delivered.

Champion Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) practices, ensuring user stories and acceptance criteria are clear, testable, and aligned with business outcomes.

Facilitate workshops, elicit requirements, and translate them into actionable deliverables.

Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.

Mentor junior BAs and contribute to best practice frameworks.

Proven track record as a Lead BA in large-scale, complex systems environments.

Significant hands‐on experience with BDD (Cucumber, Gherkin, or similar frameworks).

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Ability to work independently in a remote setting while driving collaboration across distributed teams.
