Information Technology Security Analyst

Join a London-based prestigious Nonprofit organisation as an IT Security Analyst for an initial 6-month term, working closely with the Chief Information Security Officer.

Location: Onsite in the central London office 1-2 days a week

Contract: 6-month initial term (extension possible)

Day rate: £300-£350 per day

We are seeking a highly skilled and delivery-focused IT Security Analyst to join our client\’s team for an initial 6-month engagement. This role is ideal for a professional with a background in Information Security Management, Access & Identity Governance, and Audit & Compliance, who thrives in dynamic environments and has a proven track record of implementing robust security frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the enhancement of the company\’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) in line with ISO27001 standards.
• Deliver security-focused onboarding and migration projects, ensuring seamless integration and compliance.
• Manage and improve Access Management and Identity Governance Administration (IGA) processes.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audit readiness across IT security domains.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation, including policies, procedures, and technical standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed ITIL-aligned processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify and implement new security measures to strengthen the organisation\’s risk posture.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Demonstrable experience in Information Security Management, ISO27001, and ITIL frameworks.
• Strong background in Access Management, IGA, and Audit & Compliance.
• Proven success in delivering complex security projects, including ISMS enhancements and onboarding/migration initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills for documentation, with the ability to translate technical requirements into clear, actionable procedures.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
