Theprimaryfocusofthisroleismaintainingandmonitoringtheorganisation'sAzureback-endinfrastructure.Youwilltakeownershipoftheday-to-dayoperation,optimisation,security,patchmanagement,andcontinuousimprovementofacriticalAzureestate,ensuringservicesremainsecure,resilient,andhighlyavailable.
Thisisahands-onAzureengineeringpositionrequiringstrongexperiencemanagingAzureinfrastructure,deployingWindowsServerworkloadsusingBicepInfrastructureasCode,optimisingenvironmentsthroughAzureAdvisor,andmanagingserverupdatesviaAzureUpdateManager.
EssentialAzureExperience
- MaintainingandmonitoringenterpriseAzureinfrastructure.
- DeployingWindowsServerworkloadsinAzureusingBicepInfrastructureasCode.
- ManagingandoptimisingAzureenvironmentsusingAzureAdvisor.
- ManagingserverpatchingandcompliancethroughAzureUpdateManager.
- Azureplatformmonitoring,alerting,performanceoptimisation,andoperationalmanagement.
- MicrosoftCertified:AzureAdministratorAssociate(AZ-104)orequivalent.
- ExperiencewithMicrosoftEntraID,ActiveDirectory,DNS,andrelatedMicrosofttechnologies.
- StrongunderstandingofAzuresecurity,governance,resilience,andoperationalbestpractices.

- Maintain,monitor,andoptimiseAzureinfrastructure.
- ManageAzurevirtualmachines,networking,storage,andbackupservices.
- DeployandmanageWindowsServerinfrastructureusingBicep.
- DriveplatformimprovementsusingAzureAdvisorrecommendations.
- ManagepatchingandupdatecompliancethroughAzureUpdateManager.
- SupportMicrosoftEntraID,ActiveDirectory,DNS,andcoreMicrosoftservices.
- Leadsecurityhardening,vulnerabilityremediation,andcomplianceinitiatives.
- Delivercloudmigration,infrastructuremodernisation,andimprovementprojects.
- ActasaseniorescalationpointforAzureinfrastructureissues.
- Produceandmaintaintechnicaldocumentationandstandards.
