Frankie + Lola’s is looking for an ambitious, hands on assistant venue manager to join our Inverness leadership team.

This is an existing opportunity for an experienced hospitality or leisure professional who enjoys leading people, driving operational standards and delivering exceptional customer experience.

Working alongside the Venue Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day to day operation of the venue, supporting the team across admissions, café, birthday parties and guest experience while helping drive commercial performance.

We’re looking for someone who can lead by example, enjoy being on the floor with the team and thrives in a fast paced environment.

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Venue Manager, you'll support the leadership of the venue and help ensure every part of the operation runs efficiently and safely.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Leadership
  • Supporting, coaching and developing the venue team.
  • Leading shifts and acting as Duty Manager when required.
  • Helping recruit, induct and train new colleagues.
  • Creating a positive, energetic culture focused on teamwork and accountability.
  • Operations
  • Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, presentation and safety throughout the venue.
  • Supporting the smooth operation of admissions, café, birthday parties and play areas.
  • Monitoring opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensuring company policies and operating procedures are consistently followed.
  • Commercial
  • Supporting labour scheduling and productivity.
  • Assisting with stock control, ordering and wastage management.
  • Helping deliver revenue growth through excellent guest experiences.
  • Using operational and commercial reporting to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Guest Experience
  • Leading by example in delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Resolving customer concerns professionally and confidently.
  • Ensuring every family leaves wanting to return.

About You

You’ll ideally have

  • Previous supervisory, duty manager or assistant manager experience within hospitality, leisure, retail or family entertainment.
  • Experience leading and motivating teams.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience using EPOS and managing cash procedures.
  • Confidence working across café, food service and front of house operations.
  • A proactive, hands on leadership style.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and make decisions confidently.
  • A Food Hygiene qualification and First Aid certification would be advantageous, although training can be provided.
  • Weekend and school holiday availability is essential.
