About the job
The National Account Executive drives sales growth across national contract catering accounts by building strong long-term relationships. The role is centred on maximising new machine placement opportunities within existing customers, while proactively unlocking opportunities within the contract catering channel. This is a hands-on, relationship-led role with a clear focus on delivering collective results.
Your tasks:
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions and first-class service and support.
- Work closely with internal departments, ensuring processes are followed, and queries handled effectively and professionally.
- Support the national account management team to develop customer relationships and unlock opportunities with effective communication.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the coffee industry.
- Support rollouts and scalable placements to ensure customer needs and timescales are met.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback.
Requirements:
- Proven experience within contract catering account management, ideally related to coffee or coffee equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Quick learner with the ability to understand and effectively communicate technical information.
- High enthusiasm and eagerness for a new challenge.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel across the UK meeting customers and end user sites.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & CRM systems.
