The Supply Chain & Inventory Coordinator ensures that the organisation maintains optimal inventory levels to support customer demand, production requirements, and overall operational efficiency. The position exists to analyse stock levels, forecast demand, manage purchasing activities, and support supply chain planning. By coordinating with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments, the role helps secure continuous stock availability. Reporting directly to Stock Control Supervisor/Manager.
Part-time role - 20 hours per week covering Monday - Friday.
- Analyse daily stock levels to identify risks, shortages, and replenishment needs.
- Monitor demand trends, average sales, and forecasts to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Place purchase orders based on forecasts, demand, and stock requirements.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding lead times, delivery dates, delays, and order confirmations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchasing information in SAP B1.
- Eliminate out of stock and overstock situations through proactive planning.
- Report forecasted demand to manufacturers to secure production slots.
- Escalate any production or supply issues that could affect availability.
- Work closely with the Sales Department to review sales trends and special requests.
- Participate in regular demand planning meetings, presenting stock and forecast data.
- Ensure demand changes are reflected in planning and purchasing activities.
- Work collaboratively as part of the Stock Control Team.
- Support the Stock Control Manager with reporting, stock reviews, and operational tasks.
- Carry out any additional duties required to support the business.
Requirements:
- A Supply Chain & Inventory Coordinator should have good organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well with others.
- Strong time management and work organisation skills are essential.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is crucial for success in this role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, forecast demand, and plan stock levels.

- This role is on-site office/warehouse based. The candidate should be capable of performing physical tasks in the warehouse.
