About The Job
Reports to the National Sales Manager Retail and e-Commerce. Day to day management of specified national retail and e-commerce customer accounts to include:
- Product ranging
- Forecasting
- Pricing and terms negotiation
- Head office and store level relationship management
To grow turnover and profitability with all accounts in a sustainable fashion.
Your tasks:
- Managing Key Customer Accounts at all levels as the responsible Franke contact.
- Building head office relationships in buying, merchandising/planning, and marketing to drive ranging and promotional activity.
- Building relationships with regional and store level customer representatives to drive sales and brand awareness.
- Implementing and driving strategic initiatives alongside NSM.
- Managing information: pricing & promotional P&Ls, product forecasts, customer data requests.
- Working closely with the Internal Key Account Manager to ensure all data and tasks are completed.
- Collaborating with all internal colleagues in each business function to ensure smooth running of customer accounts.
- Presenting and reporting on competitor activity within the category.
Requirements
Experience:
- 3+ years of sales experience in a similar role.
- Experience of working with multiple, complex accounts in the national retail and e-commerce sectors.
- Experience of delivering customer pitches and training.
- Proven track record in managing and negotiating with key account customers.
- Influencing at senior levels (externally and internally).
Other Skills:
- High level of education – ideally to degree standard.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
- Competent in preparing reports, undertaking presentations, managing time and workload.
- Experience of CRM applications.
- High level of IT literacy.
- High level of attention to detail.
