We have a very rare opportunity for an Orthopaedic Referral Surgeon to join our dedicated team here at frank. Pet Surgeons on a full-time, permanent basis. Become a part of our exceptional Specialist-led surgical team. At frank. Pet Surgeons, we handle a diverse range of intriguing orthopaedic cases, including complex fractures, total hip replacement, angular limb deformities, and advanced spinal and soft tissue surgeries. As part of our Specialist-led team, you will join 5 Surgeons (3 Specialists) and 3 Surgical Interns, providing a unique opportunity to enhance your surgical and anaesthesia skills and knowledge under the guidance of true experts.
It is our mission to make specialist surgical care more accessible. Our specialist surgical teams are up to date with the latest surgical techniques and routinely carry out highly complex surgeries, enabling us to confidently take on the most challenging cases. Everything we do is backed up by a unique Surgical Complications Guarantee that covers any complications arising from surgery within 6 months of the procedure. We have fixed price packages for all our procedures.
frank. Pet Surgeons is a leading and progressive veterinary clinic dedicated to providing high-quality care to our patients. We are located on the Orbital Industry Park, just off junction 4 of the M621 and 1.3 miles from Leeds train station. Our purpose-built practice houses 2 fully equipped operating theatres, CT, digital radiography, arthroscopy, ultrasound, multiparameter monitoring equipment, separate dog and cat wards, and in-house laboratory. With a team of skilled veterinary surgeons and support staff, we strive to create a compassionate and nurturing environment for both our patients and their owners.
As a well-established practice, we are committed to continuous learning and professional development. We have 5 Surgeons (4 Specialists), 2 Residents, 4 Surgical Interns, 15 RVNs, 5 ACAs, and 8 Support staff.
This is a full-time position, offering 40 hours over 4 days with a 1:3 on-call commitment.
We encourage applications from candidates who are RCVS, American, or European Boarded Diplomates or those who are residency trained. Individuals with Cert AVP status who have prior experience working in a multi-disciplinary referral hospital will also be considered.
