About the Role:
O\’Gara is looking for an experienced Class 2 Grab Driver (8-wheeler) to join our team. Based at our Irlam, Manchester depot, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting materials from construction sites across the Northwest using a grab lorry.
Key Responsibilities:
Safe and efficient operation of an 8-wheeler grab lorry
Loading and unloading materials using the grab arm
Transporting materials to and from construction sites
Adhering to health & safety and company compliance standards
Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues
Requirements:
Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) & Digital Tachograph Card
HIAB/Grab Certification (Essential)
Previous experience operating a grab lorry preferred
Good understanding of health & safety regulations
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
