We are seeking a professional Part time Class 1 HGV Driver for a Day run. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to Preston Monday to Friday. This would be an afternoon run and flexible start and finish times are a must for this role.
Duties
- Conduct pre-journey vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any issues promptly.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes to meet delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery records.
- Adhere strictly to all legal driving hours and tachograph regulations.
