\n\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced full-time Bartender / Barman to join our Front of House team at Franco's on Jermyn Street, Green Park.

Who are we?
\n\nFranco's first opened in 1946, is considered one of the first Italian restaurants in London which focuses on traditional and contemporary Italian Cuisine. Located on Jermyn Street between Green Park and Piccadilly, Franco's is a family-owned restaurant with a sister venue: Wiltons also on Jermyn Street. Both are managed by Director Jason Phillips who has worked at the Savoy, the Avenue and C London.
\n\nThe restaurant compromises of a bar area, main dining room and a basement area which can be used as two Private Dining rooms or additional seating for the restaurant. Franco's is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday to Saturday and closed on Sundays.
\n\nWhat can you bring to the team?

- At least 1 years' experience as a Bartender in a similar sized restaurant or bar, catering for 80 to 100 covers during each service \n\t
- Good knowledge of spirits, classic cocktails, different grape varieties and wine styles \n\t
- Good knowledge of Italian wines \n\t
- Responsible for greeting customers and taking orders \n\t
- Will ensure the bar always have enough stock, whilst paying special attention to high movers \n\t
- Work closely with Head Sommelier on menu and new items \n\t
- Basic knowledge of Italian cuisine \n\t
- Able to serve and clear a table of 4 people \n\t
- Have experience at making different kinds of coffees and teas \n\t
- Have experience and a good awareness of opportunities to improving sales and an ability to anticipate guest needs \n\t
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills \n\t
- Motivation, commitment, success orientated with a 'can do' attitude \n\t
- Knowledge & diversity from previous roles to the team \n\t
- Enthusiasm, drive & desire to learn \n\t
- Knowledge of Point of Sale software TISSL/Horizon would be beneficial \n\t
- WSET certification or equivalent would be beneficial \n\t
- Be able to work in a fast paced and pressured restaurant environment \n\t
- Have the ability to speak, understand and write in English fluently \n\t
- Will take pride in their appearance and be well-presented and groomed at all times \n
