- Operations Manager
- Hybrid / Field Based | Full Time
- Reports to: Operations Director
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands‑on Operations Manager who enjoys being close to the business, developing great leaders and making a real difference across multiple restaurants.
At Franco Manca, great pizza starts with great people.
For over 15 years we've been making slow‑risen sourdough pizza the way it should be: simple ingredients, proper craft and restaurants that feel part of their neighbourhood.
We're not an Operations team that manages from a distance.
We're in our restaurants, working alongside our managers and supporting our teams every day.
This role sits right at the heart of that.
Why Franco Manca?
We're proud of where we've come from and excited about where we're going.
This is an opportunity to join a business with real heritage that's investing in its people, its restaurants and its future.
You'll have the chance to shape the success of your area, work closely with senior leaders and make a genuine impact across the business.
You'll also have the opportunity to continue developing your own career, getting involved in operational projects, new restaurant openings, leadership development and wider business initiatives as we continue to grow.
We're looking for an Operations Manager to support and develop a group of restaurants, helping our Restaurant Managers and their teams deliver brilliant food, genuine hospitality and consistently great guest experiences.
This is a hands‑on role with plenty of variety and influence.
One day you could be coaching a Restaurant Manager, the next you'll be reviewing business performance, supporting a new restaurant opening or working with the wider support teams to drive operational improvements across your area.
If you enjoy developing people, balancing commercial thinking with great leadership and making a genuine difference in a fast-paced multi‑site business, we'd love to hear from you.
- You’ll love this role if
- You enjoy being out in restaurants, working alongside your managers and supporting teams to succeed.
- You get real satisfaction from developing leaders and helping people reach their potential.
- You enjoy solving problems, making commercial decisions and continuously improving performance.
- You want the opportunity to influence how our restaurants grow while working closely with senior leaders.
- What you’ll be doing
- Lead and support a group of restaurants, driving outstanding operational, financial and people performance.
- Coach, develop and support Restaurant Managers to build confident, capable leadership teams.
- Use commercial insight to improve sales, profitability, labour management, stock control and overall business performance.
- Support recruitment, succession planning and talent development across your area.
- Use operational data, guest feedback and business insight to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Champion Franco Manca's values while creating restaurants where both our teams and guests have a brilliant experience.
- Work closely with the wider support teams to ensure our restaurants receive consistent, practical support as we continue to grow.
- We’re looking for someone who
- Has multi‑site management experience within hospitality or another fast‑paced customer‑facing business.
- Has a strong commercial mindset and understands how to drive sustainable business performance.
- Is passionate about coaching Restaurant Managers and developing future leaders.
- Builds trust quickly and leads with authenticity, energy and integrity.
- Brings a practical, solutions‑focused approach and enjoys being hands‑on.
- Is comfortable balancing commercial performance with people development.
- Understands that great restaurants are built by great teams.
- Wants to help shape the future of Franco Manca.
