We are looking at recruiting for a newly qualified or junior solicitor/experienced paralegal in our Tax Disputes team dealing with contentious tax dispute matters.
The successful candidate will be someone looking for a career in tax disputes/controversy and have some experience.
A general understanding of Tax Dispute work including a general knowledge of how HMRC operate, and some knowledge of the Tax Tribunal procedures.
Some work experience in a Tax Disputes related business environment.
Experience in undertaking legal research and drafting legal documents using appropriate precedents and templates.
Provide support to the Tax disputes team in carrying out legal work under supervision.
Work efficiently and effectively in providing legal support in ongoing cases.
Contribute towards marketing content for the firm’s website and other social media channels.
Be able to show good commercial judgment.
Emphasis is placed on candidates who are energetic and enthusiastic wanting to work in the Tax Disputes arena who are keen to learn and expand their knowledge of these areas.
