Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a General Labourer/Stone Waller/ Patio Layer to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on mainly private domestic sites and performing general labour duties. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in masonry, power tools, and working with hand tools.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of mainly private domestic sites
- Operate power tools and equipment
- Perform tasks, such as measuring and cutting materials
- Assist with masonry and hard landscaping projects as needed
- Use hand tools to complete various tasks, such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
-Driving duties, such as moving/collecting/delivering materials or waste to and from different job sites.
-The majority of our work is in the PL20 and PL19 areas however the work location could be anywhere within a 30 mile radius of the PL20 area. The successful candidate will be responsible for getting themselves to site on time each day.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with masonry and power tools is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of hard landscaping techniques and ability to work alone or as part of a team is preferred
- Experience in masonry and hard landscaping is a plus
-Experience with traditional Devon/Cornish Hedging is a plus.
- Familiarity with hand tools and their proper usage is preferred
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions is required
- Candidate must be reliable and trustworthy.
-Self motivation is required
-Pay negotiable depending on experience
-No experience necessary but would be an advantage
-Option to gain qualifications through an apprenticeship agreement

Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour
