Team Leader- Stone Waller/ Landscaper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Team Leader- Stone Waller/ Landscaper to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of all aspects of Stone Walling & Hard Landscaping . This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing the aesthetic appeal and functionality of outdoor spaces. The Team Leader- Stone Waller/ Landscaper will work with various tools and equipment to ensure that the works produced are to the highest standards. *Immediate start available* . Please note:- this is an employed position.

Duties

• Undertake all manual work involved in creating Dry Stone Walling/ Devon & Cornish Hedging, Patios, Mortared Stone Walling and other Hard Landscaping projects for mainly domestic clients and take charge of a small team of laborers/ apprentices.
• Operate hand tools, power tools and machinery.
• Carry out general maintenance tasks to keep equipment in good working order.
• Oversee jobs from start to finish and make decisions using your own initiative.
• Monitor material levels regularly on sites and report to the office when materials are low to ensure jobs run smoothly and materials do not run out.

Skills

• Proficient in Dry Stone Walling/ Devon & Cornish Hedging, Mortared Stone Walling, Patio Laying (including Porcelain) and all aspects of Hard Landscaping techniques and practices.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools commonly used in all aspects of Stone Walling, Patio Laying and Hard landscaping tasks.
• Familiarity with driving small diggers/machinery/ dumpers is advantageous.
• Ability to perform general maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure longevity would be beneficial.
• Background in construction is beneficial for assisting with larger landscaping projects.
• Ability to undertake fencing and decking works would be beneficial.
• Excellent time keeping skills.
• Self Motivated.

Pay: £26,000.00-£39,000.00 per year
