About the role

The People Coordinator role serves as the first point of contact for candidates, hiring managers, employees, and operations non‑employees.

You will provide proactive administrative and operational support throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring accurate workday processing and maintaining an efficient service experience.

  • What you will be doing
  • Manage administration areas such as recruitment, new starters, leavers and employee changes in Workday.
  • Act as the primary contact for all general HR and benefits queries from candidates, new starters, hiring managers, employees and non‑employees, forwarding issues to the People Partnering team, managers or other HR teams when appropriate.
  • Work in partnership with the People Partnering team and Science Operations Administrators to deliver high‑level HR service to customer groups.
  • Maintain employee electronic personnel files.
  • Ensure vacancies requiring a visa comply with UK immigration and right‑to‑work legislation.

About you

  • Great knowledge and understanding of good HR practice, particularly recruitment administration.
  • Administrative and customer service experience.
  • Exceptional ability to deliver a high level of customer service to all stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport across a wide cross‑section of people.
  • Good teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of UK visa and right‑to‑work legislation.
