We are looking for a creative and dynamic Social Media and Content Creator to join our team. In this role, you will develop and execute effective social media strategies to enhance our respective brand presences and engage our audiences. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of social media management and public relations, paired with the ability to craft compelling content that resonates with our target audience.
The Role
- Design and create digital content, including graphics, videos, and social media posts.
- Develop templates and assets for platforms such as websites, social media, and email campaigns.
- Write engaging content for product launches, website pages and PR initiatives.
- Plan, produce, and edit content from concept to final production, ensuring alignment with campaigns and promotions.
- Manage content calendars/scheduling to ensure timely creation and distribution across all the company social media platforms.
- Photography to showcase products.
- Develop video content to support storytelling and brand messaging, collaborating closely with the team.
- Edit video content for various digital platforms using professional tools.
- Stay updated on video and digital media trends to create innovative and relevant content.
- Work closely with management to develop creative campaigns that highlight brand values, new product launches, and sustainability initiatives, with the vision of building and leading an in-house marketing team as the organisation grows.
- Research, identify, and build relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors that align with brand values and the target audience.
- Coordinate gifting strategies, track campaign performance, and provide insights for future initiatives.
- Manage and grow our social media channels by creating engaging content, actively interacting with the community, and responding to comments and messages in line with the brand's tone of voice.
About You
- Degree or equivalent qualification in marketing, a creative discipline, or a relevant field, demonstrating a strong foundation in industry principles and practices.
- Extensive experience in content creation, including graphic design and multimedia production, with a proven track record of producing high-quality, engaging visual content.
- Proficiency in design software and video editing tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Experience managing social media channels and content management systems.
- A history of producing viral content.
- Strong ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present creative ideas.
- A creative and detail-oriented mindset, with a solid understanding of brand consistency.
- Familiarity with influencer outreach and collaboration.
