Health & Safety Consultant – Northampton RegionSalary: £45,000 – £55,000 + Expenses + Pension + 31 Days Holiday
Francesca\’s Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced and dynamic Health & Safety Consultant to join a respected organisation in a permanent role. This position is based in the Birmingham region, covering the southern region, and requires extensive travel with occasional overnight stays.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional with strong technical expertise, particularly in fire safety and fire risk assessments, who thrives in a fast‐paced, multi‐site environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive health & safety audits across the southern region
Lead on fire safety compliance, including detailed fire risk assessments
Provide expert guidance on health & safety policies, procedures, and best practice
Support management teams to maintain exceptional safety and compliance standards
Deliver training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions as required
Travel extensively to client sites, with occasional overnight stays
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 2 years\’ UK Health & Safety experience — essential
Proven background as a Health & Safety Consultant or similar role
NEBOSH qualification — essential
Recognised fire safety qualification with strong fire risk assessment experience
Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High levels of energy, resilience, and flexibility to manage a busy audit schedule
Salary & Benefits
£45,000 – £55,000 per annum
All travel expenses covered

31 days annual leave including bank holidays
