Health & Safety Consultant – Milton Keynes Region (South of England Coverage)

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000

Benefits: Travel expenses, pension, 31 days annual leave (incl. bank holidays)

Location: Milton Keynes or South of England, with extensive travel & occasional overnights

The Role

A key, high-impact position supporting multiple sites across the southern region, ensuring exceptional standards of safety, compliance, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct health & safety audits across the region
  • Lead on fire safety compliance and complete fire risk assessments
  • Provide expert advice on H&S policies and procedures
  • Support management teams to maintain strong safety standards
  • Deliver training and awareness sessions where required
  • Travel extensively to client sites, with occasional overnight stays

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ UK Health & Safety experience
  • NEBOSH qualification
  • Recognised fire safety qualification
  • Strong experience in fire risk assessments
  • Candidates with advanced fire safety and H&S auditing experience are highly desirable
  • Full driving licence and own vehicle
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a busy, mobile schedule with resilience and flexibility
