Overview

Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor / Leader on behalf of a well-established business based in Mansfield (NG18). This is a hands-on supervisory role overseeing two warehouse operatives and supporting the Warehouse Manager to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.

Salary

£26,561.60 per annum (equivalent to £12.77 per hour). Salary is negotiable for the right candidate.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm with a 30-minute break.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising two warehouse operatives and supporting their daily workload
  • Leading by example in a hands-on environment
  • Manually counting, checking, and processing goods in and out
  • Assigning tasks and ensuring workflow is maintained
  • Working closely with the Warehouse Manager to support operational requirements
  • Maintaining an organised, safe, and compliant warehouse environment

Skills and Experience

  • Previous warehouse experience is essential
  • Supervisory experience is preferred, but strong senior warehouse operatives will be considered
  • Ability to work in a hands-on role and lead from the front
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Forklift licence is useful but not essential, as training can be provided
