This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, commercially minded HR Consultant with strong Employee Relations expertise to join a fast-paced, high-impact team.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys variety, and is energised by solving complex ER challenges. You will be the trusted expert clients turn to when they need clear, decisive and legally sound HR guidance.
Key Responsibilities- Leading on a wide range of Employee Relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, performance management and flexible working
- Delivering effective HR strategies that support performance, culture and business growth
- Building strong, trusted relationships with clients and senior stakeholders
- Managing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, development and succession planning
- Coaching managers through sensitive and complex people issues with confidence and clarity
- Ensuring compliance with employment law, policies and regulatory requirements
- Using HR metrics and data to support decision-making and influence outcomes
- Supporting organisational development initiatives alongside the Head of HR
- Conducting fair, thorough and timely investigations when required
- CIPD Level 5 (Level 7 highly desirable)
- 5–10 years’ experience in a similar HR role
- Proven background as a Senior HR Generalist with strong ER case management experience
- Excellent knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for client visits
- Quick thinker with the ability to step confidently into HR Advisor-level issues under pressure
- Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset
- Confident in conflict resolution, influencing and using data to support decisions
- Able to work independently while contributing effectively to a fast-moving team
