What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Chemical Regulation — ensuring full compliance with COSHH, UK REACH, SDS authoring, and CLP labelling.
- Environmental Governance — monitoring Environment Agency permits and maintaining ISO 14001 frameworks.
- Audit & Risk Management — conducting audits across blending platforms, filling lines, and warehouse operations.
- Training & Culture — delivering inductions, spill response training, and promoting a proactive compliance culture.
- Investigation & Reporting — leading root‑cause analysis and presenting compliance reports directly to the CEO.
What You’ll Bring:
- 3–5 years’ compliance or regulatory affairs experience in chemical manufacturing, oil blending, or heavy industrial processing.
- Strong experience authoring SDS documents and submitting chemical data through UK REACH/ECHA portals.
- Practical experience managing Environment Agency permits and ISO 14001 systems.
- Analytical precision, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex regulations into clear, actionable guidance.
Desirable Extras:
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or similar.
- NEBOSH General Certificate.
