This is a pivotal role for a technical, detail‑driven professional who thrives on ensuring regulatory excellence and operational integrity. What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Chemical Regulation — ensuring full compliance with COSHH, UK REACH, SDS authoring, and CLP labelling.
  • Environmental Governance — monitoring Environment Agency permits and maintaining ISO 14001 frameworks.
  • Audit & Risk Management — conducting audits across blending platforms, filling lines, and warehouse operations.
  • Training & Culture — delivering inductions, spill response training, and promoting a proactive compliance culture.
  • Investigation & Reporting — leading root‑cause analysis and presenting compliance reports directly to the CEO.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 3–5 years’ compliance or regulatory affairs experience in chemical manufacturing, oil blending, or heavy industrial processing.
  • Strong experience authoring SDS documents and submitting chemical data through UK REACH/ECHA portals.
  • Practical experience managing Environment Agency permits and ISO 14001 systems.
  • Analytical precision, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex regulations into clear, actionable guidance.

Desirable Extras:

  • Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or similar.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate.
